Invest 10,000 euros in stocks

If you want to invest 10,000, you will, in most cases, want to invest a large part of it in stocks. Of course, you can also invest the entire 10,000 euros in stocks, but you shouldn’t necessarily just trust one company.

It’s always wiser to split your capital across stocks to limit the risk of suffering heavy losses if one stock unexpectedly crashes.

In order to be able to invest 10,000 euros in shares, one can either inquire at the house bank or use an online broker. The latter is often preferred, as reputable providers, such as Roinvesting, often entice with much lower fees than the house bank.

Most of these online brokers also have so-called academies. Here all possible trading strategies are explained, and profit prospects and risks are compared with one another.

To invest 10,000 euros, all you need is an account. For most providers, the creation of the same takes no more than a few minutes.

One of the most popular strategies for investing 10,000 in stocks is to trust stocks of huge companies ( Too Big To Fail ). The returns, including dividend payments, are often much higher than the interest rate on a savings account, and the risk is also limited.

Here, too, diversity should pay off. Instead of spending the entire investment on just one stock, buy a variety of stocks from a few large companies. If you want to keep an overview of recommended stocks, you can find more information here.

And if you want to cover a much more comprehensive range of stocks, you could consider investing your 10,000 euros in ETFs.

Invest 10,000 euros in ETFs

Large funds usually contain a wide variety of stocks. A fund is characterized by the fact that it does not have very high-profit opportunities, such as highly speculative trading of derivatives or cryptocurrencies, but the risk is also limited.

Fund saving has meanwhile replaced interest saving in many ways, as good returns can still be achieved here.

So if you are betting on making an extra 100 euros in the long term, it might make sense for you to want to invest 10,000 euros in ETFs. There are different funds that are eligible for this. Where can you invest 10,000 euros? It is advisable to use large and persistent funds.

These usually have a relatively stable level of security so that even if losses are made, these are kept within limits. If you want to invest in a fund with 10,000 euros, you should fall back on such a large classic fund if you want the highest level of security.

There is also the option of using specialized ETFs if you want to invest 10,000 euros best. A trend that is now emerging is so-called green investments. Such environmental ETFs are gaining popularity, fueled by the climate issue and a rethinking in society.

If you are thinking of making such a morally upright investment, you will find some ETFs here in which investing 10,000 euros could be highly lucrative.

If you want to take a higher risk, you could invest your 10,000 euros in Bitcoin. There is a very high risk here, but at the same time, the likelihood of making decent profits is also higher.

So what’s the best way to invest 10,000 euros? To illustrate what a portfolio could look like, we have created an example.

Example of a 10,000 euro portfolio

This example of a 10,000 euro portfolio is not intended to be an investment recommendation but only to show how you can proceed if you want to invest with 10,000 euros. Before you create your portfolio, you should check whether you have the necessary know-how for each of the investment options you have chosen.

Most online brokers offer various training opportunities that you should fall back on.

We now want to invest 10,000 euros. A relatively risky investment strategy is chosen so that you can hopefully generate profits quickly. Of course, this also increases the risk of losses.

For our example, we split the 10,000 euros as follows:

60% ETFs:

Of which 3000 euros in Ishares (WKN: 593393 / ISIN: DE0005933931) and 2000 euros in the green fund Fair World Fonds (WKN DE: A0YCZ3 / ISIN: LU0458538880)

20% shares:

The mix of 5 large German companies whose shares are promising in 2022, including Adidas, Puma, Siemens and Münchner Rück.

10% cryptocurrencies:

For our example, we assume that Ethereum and Ripple, in particular, could pick up again strongly. Therefore we buy these two coins for 500 euros each.

3% CFDs;

Here we buy with 300 euros CFDs that rely on the case of the Bitcoin rate (So we are betting something against the investment in cryptocurrencies that we made above. Often, the rates of other coins are partly based on the Bitcoin rate)

7% for any fees incurred

Prices at the time of investment:
  • Ishares (3000 euros): 106.4 euros
  • Fair World Fund (2000 euros): 57.37 euros
  • Adidas: 288.4 euros (3 shares purchased)
  • Puma: 60.4 euros (3 shares acquired)
  • Siemens: 101.8 euros (2 shares acquired)
  • Wirecard: 151 euros (2 shares acquired)
  • MunichRE: 218.2 euros (2 shares acquired)
  • Ethereum in EUR: 193.27 (500 euros used)
  • Ripple in EUR: 0.285 (500 euros used)

For the example, we also assume that the 300 euros in CFDs were incorrectly invested, and this investment was lost. Now you can check how the investment could have developed by looking up the prices.

The article discusses the various investment options. Among other things, stocks, cryptocurrencies, commodities, forex trading, CFD trading, real estate, savings books, indices and many other forms of investment are top-rated.

Your trading personality plays a role here. How much money do you take in hand? Are you investing conservatively or risky? Are you investing as an alternative to saving, or do you expect juicy returns?

You should carefully examine your own financial needs before deciding on a suitable investment.

In times of negative interest rates, traditional saving hardly makes any sense. Investments are therefore the more intelligent choice: Here, you get the chance of good returns, although there is also a risk that is calculable.

Many online brokers have academies that allow adequate further training. Alternatively, trading courses are offered on the web, but here you should place a high emphasis on the seriousness of the provider.

Current news and trading strategies are, of course, also explained in detail here at Secured brokers in separate articles.
